Jenny is one of our tamest hens. She's raised the most chicks on Darlington Farm Orchard. Her baby chicks are free range enjoying sunshine, fresh grass which leads to healthy happy hens. I grew up with Silkies and have owned chickens for almost 20 years. I started breeding during COVID which I found very therapeutic. I believe in going back to grass roots, paying honor to building a sustainable future, growing and sourcing local. Personally I love the variety of colours in my flock and super friendly personalities. Most of the mother hens have been handled since birth so are used to being handled and around children with my 2 sons in primary school. Pick up at Yatala. BYO cash and a box. Chickens need friends so will only sell singles if adding to your existing flock. Darlington Hen chicks are handled regularly to maximise human contact and interaction. I'm sure you will fall in love with Darlington hens the way we adore them.

NB: baby chicks need a broody mother or heat source until fully feathered which is around 4-6 weeks (perfect for hand raising)
Fertile eggs $15 for 6, $28 per dozen. Pick up preferred
Will take roosters back but no refund
