Snuggle is a purebred Silkie. She's a naturally beautiful mother hen, incredibly soft and gentle in nature. Her baby chicks (refer to the baby chick listings) are free range enjoying sunshine, fresh grass which leads to healthy happy hens. I grew up with Silkies and have owned chickens for almost 20 years. I started breeding during COVID which I found very therapeutic. I believe in going back to grass roots, paying honor to building a sustainable future, growing and sourcing local. Personally I love the variety of colours in my flock and super friendly personalities. Most of the mother hens have been handled since birth so are used to being handled and around children with my 2 sons in primary school. Pick up at Yatala. BYO cash and a box. NB: baby chicks need a broody mother or heat source. Chickens need a flock so will only sell singles if adding to your existing numbers. I'm sure you will fall in love with Darlington hens the way we adore them.
